§         www.alarkahighlands.com – SEO launched them to #6 (2/09) in Google.

·         Consulting to companies like:

o        Animated Designs (3/05-5/05) - www.anides.com, for whom I increased speed of page loading and updating (in the “Special Offers” section of www.kia.com) by using Eclipse CVS within the J2EE environment.  I

§         Converted the HTML tables & images to CSS-Positioning code.

§         Created Templates for CSS-Positioned Layouts to format JSP files, which served XML data.

§         Documented this self-updatable system for:

o        J House Media (2006) - www.jhousemedia.com, for whom I created CSS files to format provided html files and graphics.

Educational Technology Integration Specialist, July 2002 – May 2004

Clarke County School District

  • RegICRS: Created an intranet course registration system for our Staff Development courses. As lead software developer and business analyst, my key responsibilities included:
    • Working with staff to gather and document business and functional software requirements, across the multiple departments that would use the application.
    • Designing the software system from gathered requirements, using detailed UML diagrams (Use Cases, & Concept Diagrams, Data-flow diagrams, etc.) to communicate concepts and system functionality to team members.
    • Leading a small team of developers in coding a robust software solution using Microsoft ASP 3.0, SQL Server 2000, JavaScript, and HTML.
    • Hiring, training, and supervising three additional Web developers.
  • www.clarke.k12.ga.us – Re-designed and maintained the Clarke County Technology Services’ website:
    • Used HTML, CSS, ASP 3.0, and JavaScript to build a new version of our website that integrated seamlessly with the entire School District’s web site.
    • Mentored and Trained Junior Web Authors to update the website using Dream Weaver MX Templates, HTML, and JavaScript.

 

Web Author, September 2000 – July 2001

Digital Insight Inc.

  • Developed custom websites for banks and credit unions using a variety of web technologies on UNIX servers, such as JavaScript, DHTML, HTML, and CSS. I was the web author on www.flcentralcu.com, http://www.suneast.org, and many others.
  • Developed the “Web Development Intranet,” an online resource which streamlined our process by documenting company-wide standards, processes and technical procedures.

  • Developed custom websites and performed software modifications for businesses using a variety of web technologies, such as ASP, SQL, IIS, Microsoft Access, JavaScript, and HTML.
